Brides come from near and far to be a #RueGirl for their big day and we just love being a part of it. The Golden Rhapsody collection is like taking a trip to India. The Golden Rhapsody collection is inspired by the intricate architecture, rich textures and dusky tones of Jaipur – the beating heart of India’s golden triangle. A collection to fuel the imagination of our spirited bride with custom prints and embroidery woven together with unexpected tones, traditional techniques and ornate details.

We thought it would be fun to start by first sharing each our managers favorite dresses from the collection. Up first we have Amber in Austin's fave .... she loves this one for the bold pattern and fun beaded trim and she is always here for a crop top look !!
Archer
Archer’s bold, romantic and bohemian spirit evokes the ornate prints and embroideries of India – with a drape of pearl beading, subtle cutaway bodice and back detail. A full circle skirt has deep front splits for movement, or revealing a statement shoe.
Up next we have Kristin in New Orleans. She loves this gown for the unique geometric striped lace pattern and that stunning detachable sleeve option that Rue does so well.
Shanti
Shanti captures a refined, modern aesthetic with an undeniable edge. A structured bodice is lined for comfort in stretch silk, and lavishly embroidered in lace that’s placed to flatter. A breath-taking sweeping train with its geometric curves of twisting corded lace will make your exit every bit as stunning as your entrance.
And Wesleigh in Houston finishes up our manager favorites with one that we all liked so much, we decided to make it available at all 3 locations ... she loves this one for the form fitting silhouette and new sleeve design that ties in the back.
Atlas
From its plunging neckline to the marquise diamond lace panel at the back, Atlas fits like a glove to accentuate and complement the figure. Long, elegant lines of textured openwork lace are placed to sculpt and flatter body contours. A structured bodice lined in stretch silk flares into a sweeping lace train.
Gaia
Embrace your inner goddess with this gown that kinda reminds us of the best selling Sia gown. This one is offered in two color options for the lining: Off white and new color; Clay. Gaia’s cotton and rayon openwork lace uses delicate embroidered flowers and organic lines for softness and romance. Gaia swirls gracefully around the body: from a subtle cutaway neckline, to a sweeping open back, sensuous curves and a lush lace train. A soft, front-split sleeve sparks magic and movement.
Kyara
Kyra features a structured, silk-lined bodice and deep V neckline contrast with the playful spirit of a flowing A-line skirt, in blush tones inspired by the Pink Palace at dusk. This gown is also available in Off white. Fine straps echo Jaipur’s intricate architecture, while delicate folk-art lace and traditional Indian bandwork make this dreamy gown utterly feminine. Add sleeves for an effortless transition from ceremony to reception.
Lotus
Lined in power mesh to keep everything in place, Lotus enhances every curve. A nude toned base emphasises a fine filigree lace detail, overlaid with cotton and rayon embroidery. The bold and graphic design lines of its own lace are placed to highlight and flatter the figure from every angle. A structured bustier ensures the perfect fit to the hip, before kicking out into a full skirt and lavish train.
Bakari
Bakari’s elegant boning, silk-lined structured bodice and square neckline are designed to draw the eye to the collarbones, shoulders and décolletage. This classic silhouette sparks fairy tale romance with lace embroidery, overlaid with floral and paisley applique on a luxuriant full skirt and train. Generous front slits give a touch of sex appeal and leave you free to dance the night away.
Bishop
Clean lines meet modern boho ease in Bishop. A high halter neck and elegant open back show off the shoulders. Raised, graphic geometric cotton and rayon embroidery is placed diagonally to fit and flatter. Lined in stretch silk, a slim skirt follows feminine curves before flaring to a full train, adding a sense of cool girl luxury at every step. Wear with the Anika Sleeves for added drama or to go from ceremony to reception.
Kenzo
Kenzo is for the modern bride who wants to bring a touch of the faraway to her day. Embellished with an overlay of ornate corded embroidery in shimmering gold, Kenzo’s silhouette is Rue’s nod to exotic tradition. She is also available in more classic off white. A cutaway at the mid section gives a subtle glimpse of skin, while highlighting the waist. Shoulders and décolletage are framed by a gathered, fitted sleeve, above a slim skirt silhouette that softly flares for movement.
Lyria
Lyria gives our lovestruck Rue brides a chic, flattering and utterly effortless silhouette. Design is in the details – contrasting organic rayon embroidery, lined in nude to pop with lace detail in photos. A deep plunge neckline lengthens with an elegant vertical line. Add a little romance with the addition of sleeve.
Nyles
Nyles is a classic gown for the romantic boho bride. A traditional cornelli lace technique overlays diagonal lines with organic contouring, carefully placed to curve in all the right places. A structured basque lined in stretch silk means straps can be worn on or off the shoulder. A soft train and V back neckline add a touch of elegance.
Priya
Be swept away by the vibrant colours of Jaipur. Priya is crafted in luxuriant printed devoré velvet over fine mesh. Lustrous tassels ripple with movement, while slits are added for the dancefloor or showing off a statement shoe. At the back, a high neck balances a bared back and full sleeves, letting ombre purples cascade into a full train.
Mavin
Mavin celebrates the modern woman, with e ffortless grace and hourglass curves. A simple, timeless silhouette lets richly textured vine embroidery do the talking – without taking the focus off the bride. Mavin’s silk-lined structured bodice and long body contoured fit creates a lengthened silhouette in front, while letting the spotlight fall firmly on the openwork train.
Reeve
Reeve is a fairy tale wedding gown with signature Rue flair. Luxe rayon lace is woven into pearlescent shantung silk, for a gorgeous, shimmering glow. A cutaway basque is fitted at the waist and hips, with double pleats for a fuller skirt and plenty of drama. Simple straps give you plenty of security to reveal a beautiful back.
Nori
Nori’s unexpected details make an unforgettable entrance. Fitted through the hips, godets give a kick to the skirt without adding weight or width. Blending modern with traditional, cotton lace is lavishly embroidered over fine crepe. A statuesque sleeve splits at the wrist, balancing a low-cut back and flirtatious waist tie – a perfect gown for all seasons !!
Cruz
Shine bright with Cruz’s modern romantic vibe. Graphic diamond-shaped embroidery is placed diagonally to be oh-so-flattering to feminine curves. An A line skirt flares softly from the hips for movement, from a fully structured bodice lined in stretch silk, for the bride who wants to create a regal entrance. Its clean lines work beautifully with a playful or refined sleeve.
Maneesh
Maneesh embodies the freedom of a gypsy soul. A butterfly cutaway frames the décolletage beautifully, while subtle ruching in the waist and bodice creates a secure, flattering fit without feeling restrictive. This gown reminds us a little of best seller, Nahla. Billowy, unstructured sleeves can be worn on or off the shoulder, and either tied or opened at the wrists. Contrasting panels of paisley with butterflies and whimsical florals embellish a full skirt and flowing train.
Cassian
Work your best angles, with Cassian’s fully structured, cutaway bodice. Discreetly underwired to support every bride on her big day, cotton and rayon embroidery and angled side seams wrap around to visually draw in the waist. An elegant cross detail accentuates the back, above form fitting hips that flow into a bold train in ornate contrast lace. We think brides of all shapes and sizes are really going to fall hard for this one !!
