Booking an appointment.

How do I book?

Pick a city on the Book page and choose a time that works. You'll get a confirmation right after, and a reminder the day before.

Do you take walk-ins?

We hold the floor for the bride who's booked, so we ask for an appointment when you can. If you're already in the neighborhood, message the boutique directly — sometimes there's an opening.

Is there a fee?

No — appointments are free. We're confident you'll find your dress with us, so we'd rather just meet you than charge at the door. If you're looking for something longer or after-hours, ask the boutique about an experience appointment. Those carry a small fee.

How long does it take?

About 90 minutes. Long enough to try a real range of silhouettes; short enough that nobody hits the wall.

How many people can I bring?

Up to four. We've found that's the sweet spot — enough opinions to feel supported, not so many that the room gets loud.

02

Timing & sizing.

How far out should I start?

Nine to twelve months from the wedding is the comfortable window. Most of our gowns are made to order, and the atelier needs four to six months. Add another six to eight weeks for alterations (at peak times it can take 12 -18 weeks.)

My wedding's close — can you rush?

Often, yes. Most ateliers offer rush production for a fee, and we also keep a tight set of in-stock and sample pieces that can go home with you the day you say yes.

Tell us your date when you book and we'll plan the appointment around what's actually possible — no surprises in the room.

What sizes do you carry?

Our sample gowns are primarily in the 10–14 range, with a few smaller and larger pieces throughout the collection. Most of our designers offer extended sizing well beyond that, and we’ll clip or adjust during your appointment—the sample is just to get a feel for the dress, not the final fit.

What's the price range?

Most gowns sit between $2,500 and $8,500. A few designer pieces go higher; we keep a quieter range that starts lower. Tell us what's comfortable when you book and we'll plan the appointment around it.

Do you do made-to-order?

Almost everything is. Once you've picked the gown, we take measurements and place the order with the atelier. The dress is then cut and sewn for you.

Can you order from designers you don't carry?

Most of the time, no—but it’s always worth asking. We work with more than what’s on the floor day-to-day, and if we have a relationship with the atelier, we can usually special order it in.

If it’s outside our network, we’ll just be upfront about it rather than guess.

03

The fitting itself.

What should I bring?

Yourself, nude or seamless underwear, and any inspiration you've been saving — Pinterest board, screenshots, a dress your mom wore. If you have heels in the height you want, bring them.

If you don't have a single image saved, that's fine too. The rack does a lot of the work.

Can I take photos?

Yes. We'll take them for you on your phone and on ours, so you can sit with the looks later.

Can we drink?

Feel free to BYOB—every appointment runs a little differently. Call us if you want to check ahead.

Does my stylist stay with us?

Start to finish. Same person pulling, same person zipping, same person there when the moment lands.

What if I don't find the dress?

You leave with a clearer sense of what you do want, and we follow up with options — including pieces arriving from upcoming trunk shows. No pressure to decide in the room.

04

After yes.

How does payment work?

We offer a few ways to pay: Pay in full at the time of order, 50% to place the order, 50% when your dress arrives, or a monthly payment plan.

We accept cards and cash—just ask the team what works best for you.

Do you do alterations?

We don't alter in-house, but we work closely with seamstresses we trust in each city. We'll make the introduction once your gown arrives and walk you through what to expect at each fitting.

What about veils and accessories?

We carry veils, jewelry, and shoes from a small group of designers we love. Most brides build the rest of the look at a second appointment, once the gown is locked in.

When will my dress arrive?

Roughly four to six months after we place the order. We track every gown and reach out when it lands so you can come pick it up — or have it shipped if you've moved cities.

Can I cancel after the order is placed?

Once the order's with the atelier, no — the dress is already being made for you. Fabric is cut, beading begins, and the gown becomes a one-off, with no other bride who can step in and take it.

That's the made-to-order tradeoff. It's how we get the exact silhouette and fit you want. It's also why we don't rush the order — if you need a day or two to sit with the decision before we place it, take it. Once it's in the atelier's hands, it's yours.

05

Logistics.

Do you ship?

We do — insured, signature on delivery. Most brides pick up in person and it is our preference, but if you've moved or you traveled to visit us, we'll get it to you.

I'm coming from out of town. Anything I should know?

Tell us when you book. We’ll time your appointment so you have space to think before heading home. If you need more time, we’ll do our best to accommodate based on availability.

What's a trunk show?

A weekend where one designer's full collection is on the rack — usually pieces we don't carry as samples year-round. Custom orders are available with the atelier during the show. See what's coming up.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Use the link in your confirmation email, or call the boutique. The more notice you can give, the better — there's almost always a bride waiting on that slot.

Last-minute things happen; just call us directly if it's the day of.

DIDN'T SEE IT?

Ask us anything.

The team reads every message. Tell us what you're trying to figure out and we'll come back with a real answer — usually same day.
