When she was young Tara had a thought that changed everything – "Why do all wedding dresses look like that?" and Tara la Tour was born. With a desire to change the concept of traditional dresses in the wedding industry, these gowns were created to help brides find a dress that was unapologetically them. Between this and their completely inclusive size chart, Tara aims to cater to every body. All gowns are ethically produced in their Minneapolis, MN atelier and brought straight to you.

What to expect at the fitting

No need to stress about sizing. Our stylists are experienced in working with samples of all sizes and helping brides find their perfect dress. Once you say yes, we’ll take your measurements and order the gown in the size that best fits you.

Keep in mind that the sample is simply a starting point—it isn’t meant to be your final fit. Whether a dress is clipped, pinned, or a little snug, our stylists are trained to help you see the vision and understand how the gown will look when made for you.

Special orders ship in 5–7 months. Rush production available on many styles for an additional fee – ask your stylist for current rush windows.
 

Shake the stress – we take care of all the complicated stuff. All you need to do is show up and roll with it.
